Arrest report Harrison County Sheriff’s Office

Arrested: Mildred Ann Roberts, possession of controlled substances. Received information that subject was located at the Alcoholics Anonymous building. At the time contact was made, she exhibited a strong odor of alcoholic beverage about her person and admitted she drank “one beer” while at the AA meeting. An attendant at the meeting reported to me that she had seen Roberts take a handful of unidentified pills. I transported her to Harrison County Jail and after conferring with jail staff decided to take her to the Marshall ER for observation. Marshall ER observed her for approximately five hours before releasing her. Roberts was then transported back to the jail and released to jail staff without further incident.

Arrested: Oscar Lavelle Smith, After arriving on a possible theft call I had Harrison County dispatch check subjects for wanted. Dispatch advised above listed person was wanted out of our agency for burglary of a habitation. I placed the subject under arrest and transported him to the Harrison County Jail without incident.
