Huh, I could see that coming. I was southbound at 5:15 yesterday, and northbound traffic in the Moonlight drive area was clogged / backed up because of a caravan of large trucks hauling long concrete beams. The trucks were driving up I35 Northbound side by side, so no one could pass. Traffic was thick and slow behind them.
I was there. The motorcyclist past me wearing a baseball cap with the helmet attached to the side of his bike. I commented to my daughter that if I were him I sure would be wearing my helmet…2 seconds later all the cars in front of me came to a screeching halt. As we past … he was sitting up in the middle of the right hand land facing our direction. He appeared cognizant, but was covered in blood. I looked this up because I was concerned about his condition. My daughter and I prayed for him and his family last night.
I was there. I was driving from New Braunfels to Dallas on 35. He past us on his beautiful harley wearing a baseball cap and his helmet attached to the side of the bike. I commented to my daughters that if I were him I sure would be wearing my helmet. Two seconds later the vehicles in front of me came to a screeching halt. As we past the collision site, he was sitting in the middle of the right hand lane. He appeared cognizant, but was covered in blood. It didn’t look good at all. My children were concerned for him and we pulled over in Waco so that we could say a prayer for him and his family. I intentionally googled “waco and accident” to see if there was any follow up information on him. We continue to prayer for his quick recovery.
