Do ice skaters dread Disney films?
By Carl Hoover
| Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 12:54 PM
Just got some press info from the upcoming “Disney On Ice” shows at the Heart O’ Texas Coliseum Nov. 20-23. The photo that was sent showed skaters dressed as characters from Disney/Pixar films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and The Incredibles.

I know that skaters are grateful for any work that allows them to stick with their passion and cheers to Disney and their audiences for doing that. But I gotta wonder if mid-level ice skaters view new Disney films with a different eye than most film audiences: “WALL-E? I don’t want to skate in a box for the next year!”
