McNeely chosen for national FFA band
Jefferson Future Farmers of America member Danny McNeely has been selected to play baritone in the National FFA Band.

He was one of 92 FFA members selected to help bring full instrumental balance in the band.
The band will perform several times at the 82nd National FFA Convention, adding excitement and motivation to the sessions through their music.
National FFA Band members were chosen from a pool of more than 130 applications.
The young musicians arrive in Indianapolis, Ind., three days before convention begins to rehearse.
