WES classes save box tops
Waskom Elementary School participated in a two-week Box Tops for Education drive recently. During those two weeks, kindergarten through fourth grade classes collected a total of 7,342 box tops that will be redeemed for $734. This money can be used to reward students for excellent attendance, making honor roll, purchasing playground equipment or whatever the need dictates.
Ms. Dean's class brought in the most box tops with 1,141. They were rewarded with a pizza party. Box Tops are found on hundreds of participating products throughout the grocery store and appear on most participating brands' sizes and flavors. Instead of just throwing them in the trash, send them to school with your child.
