A fatal two-vehicle accident left two Marshall residents dead at the scene on U.S. Highway 80 last evening.

Bobby Jenkins Jr., 37, was heading west on U.S. Highway 80 in his 2004 Ford Van when he entered the wrong lane and struck the left side of a 1990 Ford GMC Pickup Truck driven by Gilbert Sena-Quintana, 45 of Marshall. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports obtained by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Jenkins was carrying two passengers, his children ages 10 and nine years of age. One of the children suffered possible spinal injuries, while the other is in stable condition with cuts and scratches.

Sena-Quintana had one passenger, his girlfriend, who is in the hospital in stable condition with cuts and bruises.
