Deputies investigate burglary of stored items

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department filed a burglary report Monday after someone allegedly broke into a storage trailer and took several items. The incident happened on Private Road 3467 in Longview. A drill worth $170, a texture rig worth $3,000, a hand-masking machine worth $100 and a rubber tote of assorted tools were among the items taken. The report was taken at 9:15 a.m. Monday.

Arrests by Marshall Police Department

Paul Wayne Watson, 53, 1115 Harkins Lane, driving while license invalid, 12:43 a.m. Tuesday.

James Earl Alexander, 34, 2707 Norwood St., Apt. 218, possession of drug paraphernalia, Gregg County warrant for contempt of court, 3:05 a.m. Tuesday.

Incidents reported to Marshall Police

Burglary: 1200 block of East End Boulevard South. A man said he arrived at work and the lobby door had been broken out, 7:29 a.m. Monday.

Theft over $1500: 800 block of Lindsey. Someone said someone stole an undisclosed amount of cash, 8:14 a.m. Monday.

Theft over $500 less than $1500: 5000 block of East End Boulevard South. Someone allegedly took cash out of the register from the service department at a car dealership, 8:43 a.m. Monday.

Burglary: 3100 block of East End Boulevard South. Someone allegedly broke out a window and took property, 8:45 a.m. Monday.

Theft over $50 less than $500: 1000 block of South Washington Avenue. A man said someone took money from him, 3:29 p.m. Monday.

Credit Card Abuse: 300 block of West Burleson Street. A man said someone used his credit card and cell phone information, 4:29 p.m. Monday.

Criminal mischief: 1800 block of Herbert Street. A woman said someone tried to jump her while she was entering her vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle, 4:37 p.m. Monday.

Fraudulent use of ID info: 700 block of Circle Drive. A man said someone used his identity to buy a cell phone in his name, 9:53 p.m. Monday.

Burglary: 5800 block of East End Boulevard South. Someone allegedly broke a window at a convenience store, 2:44 a.m. Tuesday.

Arrests by Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Kurt Russell Esbenshade, 27, 2829 Naples, Tallahassee, Fla., possession of drug paraphernalia, 12:27 a.m. Tuesday.

Jeffery Louis Wilson, 21, 106 Edgeville, Longview, possession of drug paraphernalia, 12:27 a.m. Tuesday.

Ronnie Lynn Sanford, 41, 300 Lansing Switch Road, Longview, public intoxication, 8:28 p.m. Sunday.

Incidents reported to Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Terroristic threat: 700 block of Alice Calloway. A woman said her son threatened her with a knife, 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

Retaliation: Pine Island and Dorough roads. A man said someone was harassing him, 10 a.m. Monday.

Jail Population

As of 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, there were 183 inmates in the custody of Harrison County Jail. The local facility has a capacity of 150 with the remainder housed in Limestone County Jail in Groesbeck.
