Arrests by Harrison County Sheriff's Department

Frank Eugene Curtis Jr., 3940 Farm-to-Market Road 449 West, Marshall, theft of firearm and theft of property over $500 and under $1,500, Tuesday.

Eddie Bryan Benson, 606 Harper Drive, Marshall, failure to appear and driver not secured by seat belt, Tuesday.

Colline Michael Haynes, 445 Big Road, Longview, manual delivery of a controlled substance and Upshur County warrant for a prohibited weapon, Tuesday.

Jeffrey Wayne Harper, 900 Berea Three, Jefferson, speeding, failed to maintain financial responsibility, open container, possession of marijuana, and displaying fictitious inspection certificate, Tuesday.

Kornelius Centrall Bell, 23050 Farm-to-Market Road 134, Jefferson, violation of probation for credit card or debit card abuse and no driver's license, Tuesday.

Willie Earl Carpenter, 1733 State Highway 80, Longview, violation of probation forgery financial instrument and Gregg County warrant for forgery financial instrument, Tuesday.

Jail Population

As of 4 p.m., Thursday there were 172 inmates in the Harrison County Jail. The facility has the capacity for 150 with the rest housed out of county.
