Shoplifting: 1300 block of East Pinecrest. A man stole a pair of shoes from a store, 8:35 p.m., Friday.
Lost/Missing child: 1200 block of West Rusk Street. A woman reported that she could not find her 8-year-old child, 8:46 p.m., Friday.
Juvenile Complaint: 1000 block of East Fannin Street. A woman reported that her 12-year-old daughter was being disrespectful and cursing, 9:02 p.m., Friday.
Disturbance: 2100 block of Grafton Street. A woman reported that a male subject had jumped on her, 11:18 p.m., Friday.
Narcotics: 800 block of Elm Street. Someone reported that drugs were being sold out of their neighbor's house, 1:52 a.m., Saturday.

Criminal Mischief: 2000 block of Masidonie Road. A man reported that his gate had been destroyed, 7:30 a.m., Friday.
Theft: 1200 Farm-to-Market Road 968. A man reported that a trailer had been stolen, 9:30 a.m., Friday.
Burglary: 3000 block of Country Club Road, Longview. A man reported that someone entered his home and stole a refrigerator and a microwave, 9:45 a.m., Friday.
Theft: 700 block of Cowpen Road. A man reported that two horses, a hinge and a hoist were stolen from his pasture, 3:50 p.m., Friday.
Assault: 4000 block of Cook Road. A woman reported that her father was drunk and had assaulted her, 11:30 p.m., Friday.
Theft: 100 block of Young Street. Someone reported a house was broken into and jewelry worth more than $7,000 was stolen, 1:30 p.m., Saturday.

Jail Population
As of 2:43 p.m., Saturday, there where 177 inmates housed in the Harrison County Jail. The local facility has the capacity of 150 with the rest housed out of county.
