Arrests by Marshall Police Department

Bailey Thompson, 51, 2718 Power Plant Road, Waskom, 12:42 a.m., Thursday.

Terrence Terrell Stephenson, 27, 1109 University St., Marshall, assault, 11:45 p.m., Friday.

Oral Lester Lunsford, 51, 2301 Addibelle, Marshall, MPD warrant for driving while license invalid, MPD warrant for speeding and no valid driver's license, 9:59 p.m., Friday.

Bobbie Duane Conner, 51, 678 Walker Road, Marshall, public intoxication, 3:45 a.m., Saturday.

Incidents reported to the Marshall Police Department

Shoplifting: 1300 block of East Pinecrest. A man stole a pair of shoes from a store, 8:35 p.m., Friday.

Lost/Missing child: 1200 block of West Rusk Street. A woman reported that she could not find her 8-year-old child, 8:46 p.m., Friday.

Juvenile Complaint: 1000 block of East Fannin Street. A woman reported that her 12-year-old daughter was being disrespectful and cursing, 9:02 p.m., Friday.

Disturbance: 2100 block of Grafton Street. A woman reported that a male subject had jumped on her, 11:18 p.m., Friday.

Narcotics: 800 block of Elm Street. Someone reported that drugs were being sold out of their neighbor's house, 1:52 a.m., Saturday.

Arrests by the Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Jeff Vaughn Strother, 40, 4919 Noonday Road, Marshall, theft, 11:47 a.m., Friday,

Rubin Gomez, 35, West Interstate 20, Marshall, warrant for an assault causing bodily injury, 2:35 p.m., Friday.

Felipe De Jesus Garcia, 26, Farm-to-Market Road 2625, public intoxication, 2:38 a.m., Saturday.

Incidents reported to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Criminal Mischief: 2000 block of Masidonie Road. A man reported that his gate had been destroyed, 7:30 a.m., Friday.

Theft: 1200 Farm-to-Market Road 968. A man reported that a trailer had been stolen, 9:30 a.m., Friday.

Burglary: 3000 block of Country Club Road, Longview. A man reported that someone entered his home and stole a refrigerator and a microwave, 9:45 a.m., Friday.

Theft: 700 block of Cowpen Road. A man reported that two horses, a hinge and a hoist were stolen from his pasture, 3:50 p.m., Friday.

Assault: 4000 block of Cook Road. A woman reported that her father was drunk and had assaulted her, 11:30 p.m., Friday.

Theft: 100 block of Young Street. Someone reported a house was broken into and jewelry worth more than $7,000 was stolen, 1:30 p.m., Saturday.

The following incidents were reported for the last 24-hour shift of the Marshall Fire Department:

Jail Population

As of 2:43 p.m., Saturday, there where 177 inmates housed in the Harrison County Jail. The local facility has the capacity of 150 with the rest housed out of county.
