Staff Reports
Marshall police filed a possession of drug paraphernalia report after a security guard alerted officers that he had confiscated it from a patient in the emergency room.
The report was filed 8:23 p.m. Tuesday from Good Shepherd Medical Center-Marshall.

Criminal Mischief: 200 block of South Allen Boulevard. Damage was done to a residence, 2:48 p.m. Tuesday.
Theft over $50 and less than $500: 1400 block of Warren Drive. A purse was stolen from a business office, 4:48 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: 2300 block of West Houston Street. A residence was broken into, 9:14 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: 300 block of Bruckmuller Street. A vehicle was broken into, 10:22 p.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: 200 block of Holcomb Street. A residence was broken into, 1:56 a.m. Wednesday.

As of 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, there were 168 inmates in the custody of Harrison County Jail. The local facility has a capacity of 164 with the remainder housed in Gregg County.
