Arrests by Marshall Police Department

Donnie Lee Brown, 21, 1108 Baffo Road, Marshall, MPD warrants/animal at large and no or expired vaccination tag, 3:20 p.m., Monday.

Derrick Dion Clayborn, 17, 3800 Forest Trail, Marshall, MPD warrants/failure to identify fugitive and expired motor vehicle inspection, 8:56 p.m., Monday.

Earnest Lee Cooper, 21, 2211 Bledsoe St., Marshall, unlawfully carrying weapon and possession drug paraphernalia, Monday.

Incidents reported to Marshall Police Department

Burglary of a motor vehicle: 900 block of Wilson Street. A truck window was busted out, 12:37 a.m., Monday.

Theft more than $50 and less than $500: 700 block of North Bolivar Street, 3:48 p.m. Monday.

Assault family violence: 2000 block of Taft Street. A man reported his ex-girlfriend assaulted him, 11:54 p.m., Monday.

Incidents reported to Harrison County Sheriff's Office

Criminal Mischief: Private Road 3449. A vehicle was spinning out and damaging property, Monday.

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon: Old Town Road. A female was cut several times with a box cutter by her ex-boyfriend, Monday.

Theft of a firearm: Dave Wilson Road, a gun was stolen, Monday.

Theft: Farm-to-Market Road 9 South. Renters moved out a residence and took several items, Monday.

Debit card abuse: Private Road 1330, Monday.

Criminal mischief: Farm-to-Market Road 31. A lawn mower was damaged, Monday.

Family disturbance: Private Road 1331. A couple was arguing, Monday.

Criminal mischief: Marshall Leigh Road. Someone threw a pumpkin at a mailbox, Monday.

Jail population

As of 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, there were 196 people in the custody of the Harrison County Jail. The facility has a capacity of 164 with the remainder housed out of county.
