The Texas and Pacific Railway Museum's fifth annual Model Train Show offers fun for the entire family, according to Mary Hendricks, chair of the committee and vice president of the Marshall Depot board.
"We have vendors, who sell model railroad related items, and large exhibitors for the children and the children love it," she said.

The event is today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marshall Civic Center.
Large crowds from throughout the Ark-La-Tex and nation come for the show, which is a fund-raiser for Marshall Depot that also pays tribute to the history of trains.
Ms. Hendricks, who started the fund-raiser, said it is still going strong and they hope to continue it.
"They like the weekend," she said of train enthusiasts. "It's the last day of the Louisiana State Fair and they go there, here and then Canton."
Award-winning displays will be featured, some of which have been displayed throughout Shriner's burn units.
About 20 vendors will be on hand, including Roys Toys & Trains of Jefferson.
A drawing will be conducted Saturday and Sunday for a family of four (to adults and two children) to take a train trip anywhere on the Texas Eagle from Texarkana to San Antonio. Meals will be included.
"It's a wonderful family event," she said. "All ages enjoy it — from grandparent to babies in arms.
"Our main mission is to support the whole history of what T&P has meant to the city of Marshall," she added. "The whole mission is to keep alive the T&P history of the town."
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children ages 12 and younger. One admission is good for both days.
