The Kilgore College Small Business Development Center is offering a "Texas Friendly Hospitality" course Wednesday, Nov. 11, in two sessions at the Greater Marshall Chamber of Commerce.
"Hospitality is for any business, not just motels and hotels," said Connie Ware, president and CEO of the Greater Marshall Chamber of Commerce.
East Texas Entrepreneurs, business owners and managers are invited to the one-day course held 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. on the topic of customer service as a vital component to repeat business and profitability.
"This is for the general public. You do not have to be a Chamber member to attend," she said, adding that the scheduling for the sessions is for the convenience of retailers and those who would like to attend during lunch.
The workshop will teach participants how to manage and enhance the delivery of quality service. Teamwork will be a focus for improving both internal and external customer service to enlighten participants on hospitality's many phases.
Register early as seating will be limited. To register contact Ms. Ware at the Marshall Chamber of Commerce, (903) 935-7868.
