Marshall's boy's basketball team will hold a scrimmage benefitting a local cause this weekend.
The Mavericks, who begin after-school practice today, will hold a Red-White scrimmage at 5 p.m. Saturday at Maverick Gymnasium.
Admission will consist of a canned food donation, which will later be delivered to the Marshall Food Pantry.
The team will treat fans to hot dogs following the event.
