Texas High escaped an upset bid by Hallsville when Josh Moore connected on a 22-yard field goal with 3.4 seconds remaining to lift the Tigers to a 12-10 win over the Bobcats.
The win clinches a playoff spot for Texas High, whose head coach Barry Norton recored his 100th win as the head coach in Texarkana.
Hallsville, meanwhile, still controls its own playoff destiny with the winner of its game against Sulphur Springs this week claiming the league's fourth spot.
The Bobcats had taken a 10-9 lead late in the fourth when Austin Lightle knocked a 22-yard field goal through. Jared Simpson notched Hallsville's lone touchdown with 6:48 in the first, but Texas High quickly countered with a 73-yard drive capped by a 17-yard scoring pass from Nathan Sorenson to Joseph Thurman.

The Lobos completed their sixth straight season without a district loss, extending their winning streak in district games to 34, by piling up 496 total yards in their demolition of the cross-town rival Pirates.
Pine Tree, meanwhile, managed only 70 total yards as Longview racked up 13 tackles for losses and four sacks in the first half alone.
The third-ranked Lobos will receive a bye before entering the Class 4A, Division I playoffs, which begin in two weeks.
