Tori Gray and Gabrielle Bradford combined for 23 kills, and Mia Jones dished out 32 assists as the Beckville Ladycats opened the Class A playoffs with a 25-21, 21-25, 25-16, 25-18 bi-district win over Waskom at Panola College.

Gray had 12 kills, Bradford 11, T'Ouja Adams seven, Shelbi Dodson four, Jones two and Seslie Allen one.

Erica Graham led the way defensively with 14 digs. Dodson had 12, Jones eight, Gray seven, Lacy Acker six, Bradford three, Channie Evans two and Allen and Adams one each.

Jones fired off three aces, with Gray and Acker adding two apiece and Dodson, Bradford and Graham chipping in with one apiece. Adams had two blocks and Bradford one.

The Ladycats will take on Detroit at 7 p.m. Saturday at Hughes Springs.
