.Dense sea fog has returned to the local bay and nearshore cool

shelf waters. Fog should linger on a few hours after sunrise

before dissipating. A tightening onshore pressure gradient in

response to lowering western Plains pressure will strengthen

southeasterlies and elevate sea heights to Small Craft Advisory

criteria tonight. Advisory level conditions should persist through

early Wednesday evening.

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a

Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT this

morning. A Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This Small

Craft Advisory is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM CDT

Wednesday.

* WINDS...Southeast to south 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around

30 knots.

* WAVES/SEAS...Seas will build to 8 feet Wednesday morning.

* VISIBILITY...1 nautical mile or less.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should be prepared for sudden changes in visibility over

short distances. Reduce your speed and keep a lookout for other

vessels...buoys and breakwaters. Keep your navigation lights on.

Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller craft
