Farm Tours are more than just for fun.

Have you ever been to a real working farm?

Most folks have been to a U-Pick or a petting zoo or maybe even a crop farm that uses Agritourism to round out their revenue. Great idea. And what fun!

But is visiting the farm always about having fun?

For children, of course, fun is learning and learning is fun, or at least they should go together a lot of the time. But what about grown-ups? Is there something that you can learn from the farm, too? What if the knowledge you lack is critical to your health and well-being?

Our farm gives folks a chance to learn more about how food is produced. We give locals the opportunity just a few times a year to come out and learn (for free!) about what Shady Grove Ranch is all about.

But I'll tell you--when you get here, we might not know exactly where our animals are. It's a lot like a Where's Waldo? experience. Read more about why that is here.
