Brittany Lynn Toarmina and Ryan William McCloskey

Brittany Lynn Toarmina, a Pine Tree and A&M University graduate, and Ryan William McCloskey, a Spring Hill and A&M University graduate, were united in marriage by the Rev. James Morris on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville, Texas. A reception followed inside the Castle.
The bride is the daughter of Noreen Matthews Freeman of Texarkana and the late Ross Toarmina of Longview. Brittany is the granddaughter of Jake and Delores Matthews of Marshall, Maryann Toarmina of Tyler and the late Charles Toarmina of Longview.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Joan McCloskey of Longview. Ryan is the grandson of Roxanne and the late Jack McCloskey of Gilmer and the late John and Mary Lou Bennett of Longview.
Hannah Marie Toarmina of College Station, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The matron of honor was Ali Matherne Allen of Longview. There were five bridesmaids.
Keith McCloskey, Ryan’s twin brother, served as the best man. There were six groomsmen. Ushers were Eric and Stewart Matthews, cousins of the bride, Donovan McCloskey, nephew of the groom, and Dale Garcia, cousin of the groom.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her mother and her grandfather, Jake Matthews. The bride’s bouquet held a charm with a picture of her late father.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Castle on the Lake, hosted by the groom’s parents.
The couple honeymooned in El Dorado Royale Resort at Riviera, Maya, Mexico. They reside in Dallas.
