The bride is the daughter of Steven and Wanda Owen and the late Debra Ford of Marshall. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Wanza Owen and Jean Ford and the late Lamar Ford of Marshall. She is employed at Highland Clinic by Dr. Dhawan.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Teresa Raley of Bossier City, La. He is the grandson of Earl and the late Francis Raley of Shreveport, La. He is employed as an Auto CAD Drafter at Raley Associates and attended LSUS.
The entrance into the sanctuary was lined with ferns. The sanctuary was adorned with spiral candelabras with trailing asparagus fern. Large Boston Ferns flanked the sides. A large arrangement behind the bride and groom featured white glads, white roses and mums, along with two pieces on each side of the altar.
The bride wore a formal A-line gown of ivory satin featuring an overlapping strapless beaded, rouched bodice transitioning into a softly draped A-line skirt. A fluted side drape revealed an inset of French Alencon lace. The back of her gown featured a knotted detail and butterfly bustle. Matching her extended chapel length gown, she chose a spray of rhinestone and seed pearl daisies and an elbow length veil trimmed with the same beaded daisies. She carried a hand tied bouquet with flame callas, circus roses, Belles of Ireland and Safari Sunset.
Maid of honor was Brandy Owen Jackson of Marshall. Bridesmaids were Christina McGee of Longview and Sarah Bergeron of Deadwood. Emily Ford of Heath, Tx., served as the flower girl.
Her attendants wore formal gowns of aubergine charmeuse featuring mock wrap bodices and low backs with natural banded waistlines and rhinestone accents with soft A-line skirts. Each carried hand tied bouquets with yellow tone hydragenias, bronze, burgundy & yellow Poms with circus roses.
The best man was Colton Raley of Bossier City. Groomsmen were Cory Owen of Marshall and Sam Condon of Haughton, La. The ringbearer was Cade Simmons of Atlanta, Ga. and the ushers were Mark Jackson of Marshall and Zach Raley of Bossier City.
The reception area was decorated with a fall theme. Every other arrangement was pumpkins with poms, circus roses and filler. The other was vase arrangements with buttons and poms. Lattice work was decorated with fall leaves, field pumpkins and fall mums.
The bride’s table featured her four-tiered cake, silver punch bowl with battenburg lace cloths and the letter R floated in the punch.
The candy table was set up with various varieties of candy, an arrangement in a tall container that matched what was on the table, along with an arrangement of circus roses, poms, larkspur, etc.
The rehearsal dinner, a Gourmet Hamburger Buffet, was held at Central Perks, hosted by Teresa and Jeff Raley.
Following a wedding trip to New Orleans, La., the couple will make their home in Shreveport, La.
