Dr. Christopher Boylan of Christus Good Shepherd Marshall was guest speaker at Thursday’s noon meeting of the Marshall Rotary Club and delivered a detailed discussion concerning heart disease and prevention.
Dr. Boylan, a cardiologist with over 20 years of experience, discussed the various risk factors that can lead to heart disease. Dr. Boylan graduated from New York Medical College and earned a Fellowship, Cardiovascular Disease from Baylor University Medical Center and a Residency, Internal Medicine, at Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Boylan was joined by Mr. Brett Kinman, Administrator of Christus Good Shepherd Marshall.
The meal was catered by Catfish Express, and included fried fish, french fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies.
The Marshall Rotary Club meets at noon every Thursday at the Panola Harrison Electric Cooperative Building located at 410 E. Houston Street.
