The Marshall Police Department is searching for a suspect who they said seriously injured an officer Monday night.

Antonio Dejuan Trammal is described as a black man. He has an outstanding parole warrant.

"We are posting two pictures — one from his from his Facebook page and another we have readily available in order to get information out as quickly as possible," the department said in a release. "These photographs are not as current as we would like, but we will update with a more recent photo if one becomes available to us."

Police said officers went to the 2900 block of East Travis Monday night in response to reports of a person with a weapon and for a welfare concern. Dispatch was notified of an altercation and officer injury around 7 p.m.

Trammel fled on foot, police said. A search is centered around East Travis and Indian Springs.

"Please be alert, and call 911 if you observe something out of the ordinary," police said.

The officer suffered serious injuries but is "alert, oriented and stable," police said.
