This week’s meeting of the Marshall Rotary Club featured Vickie Ives of the American Indian Horse Club.
Ives gave a fun and educational program about endangered horse breeds, and even brought some show-and-tell.
Daren Horton reported that the Faux Paws Dog Walk went well, and Rotarians are happy to have helped raise money for the local no-kill shelter. The club’s flag project is mostly complete.
Guests were in abundance this week, with a high school group led by Harrison County Judge Chad Sims, and former Marshall Metro Rotary Club President Charles Cornish, as well as Rotarian-to-be Stormie Nickerson and a delegation from the Wiley Science Department.
