This week’s meeting of the Marshall Rotary Club was a blast from the past, with prior Marshall Rotary President Louraiseal McDonald serving as the head of the meeting.
The meeting opened up to a thank-you note from Rotary scholarship recipient and RYLA alum Carson Carlyle.
Guests this week were Kim Calderon and Elizabeth Bowen from Wallis Dermatology Associates of Marshall. Calderon, a registered nurse, spoke to Rotarians about skin cancer prevention and screening and took several questions from Rotarians. We hope to see them again soon.
The public can now register for the club’s Centennial Celebration on its website.
Registrations from out-of-town Rotarians have already begun. Those who do not wish to register online can do so with cash check or charge at a future Rotary Club meeting.
