Marshall Rotary Club

LaJuan Hollis-Gordon, executive director of Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity, was the guest speaker at the Marshall Rotary Club’s recent meeting.

This week’s meeting of the Marshall Rotary Club involved an early 90th birthday celebration for one of our most active and dedicated club leaders, Lou Gaw. The club sang a happy anniversary song for the happy couple, Don and Linda Endicott.

Our guest this week was LaJuan Hollis-Gordon, executive director of Northeast Texas Habitat for Humanity. We all might think we know what Habitat does, but Hollis-Gordon showed us that it does so much more than we thought. She is looking for volunteers, so if you’re curious, you know where to go.

You’re invited to the new officer installation Tuesday at the Methodist church. The $5 a head ticket will include a meal from Meals and More.

Also, register for our 100th Anniversary Gala. If you don’t want to register online, you can bring the money to next week’s meeting.
