Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office tracked down two suspects Saturday who were wanted out of Michigan in connection with a felony drug case.
The suspects, 35-year-old Chad Alan Wilkinson and 32-year-old Meshell Jean Grant, were found in Uncertain in the 100 block of Goose Prairie Drive. The Newaygo County Sheriff's Office in Michigan had contacted Harrison County authorities last Thursday, asking for help in finding the suspects.
"Information given to Harrison County officials indicated the suspects were located in Uncertain at an address of 161 Goose Prairie Drive," Jay Webb, administrative deputy noted. "Deputies confirmed the presence of the suspects at the residence."
And due to the nature of the warrants and the possibility of weapons being involved, several law enforcement officers were briefed on the specifics of the warrants and responded to the scene for the arrest.
"The warrants were served, without incident on the suspects on Saturday at approximately 9 a.m. after the suspects left the residence in a vehicle that was observed at the location," Webb indicated.
Wilkinson was arrested on a warrant out of Newaygo County, Mich., for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance; Ms. Grant was arrested on a warrant out of Newaygo County for obstruction or retaliation.
The suspects were placed in the county jail and are awaiting transfer to Michigan state authorities.
