April 1, 2017 at 4 a.m.
The March "Good Neighbor" Student of the Month, sponsored by local State Farm agent David Schol, was presented to Marshall High School senior Criston Cade.
Criston, whose mother is Alondria Cade, plans to attend Baylor University. His favorite subject is history and he enjoys school activities such as speech/debate and orchestra.
Criston was nominated into the National Society of High School Scholars.
He is engaged in the community on a larger scale as part of the District Strategic Planning and Marshall City Youth Commission.
Each month, Scholl presents the "Good Neighbor" award to a Marshall High School junior or senior who was nominated by his or her teachers based on various esteemed characteristics.
These include leadership, scholarship and citizenship.
