An East Texas businessman has been arrested after turning himself in to police Thursday.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office investigators received a complaint on March 6 involving an alleged unlawful restraint by Casey Slone Construction owner Casey Slone of Longview.

The complaint accused Slone, 47, of restraining a person against his will and claimed Slone made threats of serious bodily injury against the victim while displaying a weapon.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Slone charging unlawful restraint, expose to serious bodily injury.

Slone turned himself in to the Harrison County Jail and was booked on the warrant.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Casey Slone Construction has served as the construction contractor for numerous new East Texas school buildings and businesses, including most recently at Marshall ISD.
