Kids and adults alike were lining up for Zumba classes at the Marshall Public Library on Tuesday to kick off the summer with a fun, uplifting workout.
The classes were led by Shannon Johnson of Shake and Move Fitness. The library, located at 300 S. Alamo Blvd, will host Zumba for Kids at 10:30 a.m. every other Tuesday. The next Zumba class is scheduled for June 26.
The library will host a plethora of activities every day for local children throughout the summer. On Wednesdays, starting at 10:30 a.m. on June 13, the library will host Storytime with the library’s Children’s Manager Felicia Maden or Gametime with board games. Thursdays, starting at 10:30 a.m. on June 14, the library will host LEGO building or movies while Fridays will be known as “Fab Fridays” and will include special guests.
