Marshall police said one Marshall man was killed and two others injured on Tuesday following a mid-morning shooting in Marshall.
Marshall police received multiple calls about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday reporting shots fired near the 700 block of Cross Street in Marshall.
Marshall police, detectives and administrators responded to the scene of the shooting and found three gunshot victims.
One adult male victim, identified as Curtis Kador Sr., of Marshall, was found dead when officers arrived, and Marshall Fire and EMS transported the other two victims to Christus Good Shepard Medical Center in Marshall with non-life threating injuries.
Marshall police arrested Stoney Deshun Irving, 29, of Marshall at the scene on Tuesday. Irving was booked into the Harrison County Jail and charged with one count of first degree murder under influence of sudden passion.
Irving’s bond had not yet been set as of Tuesday evening.
