A Hallsville man has been indicted on four counts of possession of child pornography.

Daniel Wayne McFarland, 39, was released Tuesday on $40,000 in bonds on four warrants from the 124th District Court after grand jury indictments on charges of possession of child pornography.

The indictments said McFarland on or about Dec. 20, 2017, possessed visual material that depicted a child under age 18 performing sexual acts.

McFarland was arrested by Gregg County Sheriff’s deputies at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the courthouse.

  • Christy Lashon Hill, 22, of Marshall, was arrested on the charges of theft of property $00 to $750 and no liability insurance on Tuesday.
  • Keith Dewayne Hall, 31, of Marshall, was arrested on the charge of assault-Class A family violence on Tuesday.
  • Antiwan Jerome Greer, 33, of Marshall, was arrested on the charge of criminal trespass on Tuesday.
  • Courtney Serell Hunter, 35, of Marshall, was arrested on the charge of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces on Tuesday.
  • Aubri-Ann Catherine Muir, 23, of Marshall, was arrested on the charge of no proof of liability insurance on Wednesday.
  • Marvin Jones, 39, of Marshall, was arrested on a Gregg County warrant on Wednesday.

  • Theft of property $100 to $750, 2500 block of West Pinecrest Drive, Wednesday.
  • Warrant (issued by other agency), 1500 block of Kingfish Street, Wednesday.
  • Burglary of a motor vehicle (parts/accessories), 800 block of Shadywood Road, Wednesday.

Arrests made by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office

  • Nathanial Erwin Ferrell, 36, of Longview, was arrested on the charge of indecency with a child by exposure on Tuesday.

  • Criminal mischief, Hallsville, Monday: Lawn damaged by vehicle.
  • Theft of copper, Marshall, Monday: Wiring stolen from a cell tower.
  • Evading arrest with a vehicle, Hallsville, Tuesday: Suspect refused to stop for deputy, crashed and fled on foot.
