The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is honored to acknowledge the telecommunication operators of all law enforcement in Harrison County Chief Deputy Brandon Fletcher said.
“The week of April 14-20 has been recognized by Governor Greg Abbott as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week,” noted Fletcher. “The telecommunications section of any law enforcement office is always the heartbeat of the agency. Whenever there is any need for fire, ambulance, or police, the 911 operators are always there. The 911 operators are trained and licensed to handle all emergency needs and to get the necessary help to those who need it.
“We are especially proud of our professional 911 operators who answer every call that comes in to the dispatch office with sincere concern for the safety and well-being of the citizens Harrison County,” he said.
