Candidates set to graduate from the Word of Truth Bible College Sunday are shown. The East Texas satellite office will host its commencement services 5 p.m. Sunday, June 9 in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel on the campus of Wiley College in Marshall.

The Word of Truth Bible College proudly announces the graduation of candidates from its East Texas satellite office, located in Karnack. The Bible College is accredited by the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institution Inc.

“This year, we have four candidates receiving their master’s degree, nine candidates receiving their bachelor’s degree and 27 receiving their certificate of completion in biblical studies,” said College President Dr. Bishop Ricky Moore Sr.

The commencement ceremony will take place 5 p.m. Sunday, June 9 in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel on the campus of Wiley College in Marshall.

Dr. Bishop Ricky Moore Sr. is president; Rev. Jerry Jeter is vice president; Rev. Stevie Lynn Jeffrey is dean; Dr. William Cannon is chairman of the trustee board; Marcus Franklin is an instructor; and Otis Amie is an instructor.

This year’s commencement speaker will be Dr. Ricky Bishop Moore Sr. Sunrise Baptist Church Mass Choir will render the music.

Summer registration begins July 17. The public is invited to help celebrate the graduates. The college was founded by Moore in Shreveport, Louisiana. The East Texas satellite branch is at New Vision Missionary Baptist Church in Karnack.

“We are accredited. I have had this college in Shreveport, Louisiana, for five years. Now that I’m in East Texas, I have brought it here to help young preachers, Bible students and pastors that are trying to further their faith,” said Moore.

The college’s mission statement is: Information, Inspiration and Impartation.
