Bethel to conclude revival May 22
Bethel Baptist Church, 11768 Texas 49 in Jefferson, will conclude its revival at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The guest preacher is Harry ‘O Brown, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ringgold, Louisiana. Terry Douglas is the pastor at Bethel Baptist.
Area Baccalaureate service set May 23
The Marshall Ministerial Alliance invites all high school seniors from area high schools, charter schools and home schools as well as their friends, family and youth groups to a Baccalaureate service at 7 p.m. May 23 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 501 Indian Springs Road, Marshall.
The Marshall High School Fine Arts Department will provide special music, with Rev. Minda Purdie, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Marshall, speaking. Peacemaker scholarships also will be presented.
Graduates are encouraged to arrive at 6:15 p.m. for details and instructions.
St. Paul BC to host women’s conference
St. Paul Baptist Church is hosting the “Unmask Yourself” women’s conference from May 24-26 at the church, 3004 Karnack Highway, Marshall.
Guest speakers include minister Tonia Collins of Deberry, 7 p.m. Friday; pastor Dot Clark of Hillsboro, 10 a.m. Saturday; and evangelist Rashida Smith of Niceville, Florida, 3 p.m. Sunday.
