St. Paul to host meeting July 9-12

St. Paul Baptist Church will host the Covenant Fellowship Camp Meeting from July 9-12 on the church grounds, 3001 Karnack Highway, Marshall.

The theme is “This is the time for the power of agreement.”

Speakers and schedule include: apostle Otis Greenwood, 7 p.m. Tuesday; pastor Willie Gooden, noon Wednesday; prophetess Ellyn Favors, 7 p.m. Wednesday; pastor Bennie Carroll, noon Thursday; evangelist Jackie Y. Gooden, 7 p.m. Thursday; apostle Roosevelt Richards, noon Friday; and apostle Edwin Favors, 7 p.m. Friday.

Westside to host gospel meeting

Westside Church of Christ will host its annual gospel meeting at 7 p.m. nightly July 10-12.

The speaker will be John Shannon from the James Road Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee.

The meeting will close with homecoming services at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14. Lunch will be served from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Men’s, women’s conference set

Women at the Well of Encouragement, a men’s and women’s conference, will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at the Jefferson Tourism Center, 805 Austin St., Jefferson.

New Generation Fellowship Church will host its preannual choir musical at 6 p.m. Saturday. Choirs, groups and soloists will render A and B selections.

Church to host Women in Red program

The Mission Society of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church will host a 100 Women in Red program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at the church, 1300 Billups St. in Marshall.

The program features Shelia Timberlake, pastor of Bethel CME Church in Beckville. The guest choir is James Chapel Baptist Church and guest soloist is Lisa Barron.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, biblical based recovery program for individuals and their families who are dealing with life issues. The Faith Clinic has moved to Mission Marshall, 2109 S. Washington. Faith Clinic is open the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 6:30 p.m. Services will be rendered by appointment only.
