LONGVIEW — Gladewater’s Stephen Harris, Longview’s Lauren Fisher and Grace Iltis, Hallsville’s Ben Williams and Nick Smith, Marshall’s Kinley Pessel and Linden’s Cade Stanley were among division winners on Monday as the Ark-La-Tex Junior Golf Tour opened it’s summer season at Longview’s Alpine Golf Course.

Addison Cross of Texarkana won the 7-9 coed division with a total of 39 (nine holes). Harris was the boys 10-11 winner with a 42 (nine holes), while Fisher won the girls 12-13 division with a 73 (18 holes), Williams won the boys 12-13 division with an 83, Pessel won the girls 14-15 division with a 78, Smith was the boys 14-15 winner with a 78, Iltis carded an 87 to win the irls 16-18 division and Stanley had an 84 to win the boys 16-18 division.

Earning runner-up finishes were Longview’s Parker Hatfield with a 39 (7-9 coed), Longview’s Carson Coward with a 53 (boys 10-11), Longview’s Faith Ann Chinn with a 74 (girls 12-13), Longview’s Collin Small with an 83 (boys 12-13), Longview’s Kylan Liedtke with an 80 (boys 14-15), Longview’s Laney Gruppi with a 96 (girls 16-18) and Gilmer’s Karson Martin with an 89 (boys 16-18).

The tour will make stops at Texarkana Country Club on Thursday, Oak Forest in Longview on June 10, Northside Country Club in Texarkana on June 17, Wood Hollow in Longview on June 24, The Templest in Liberty City on July 1 (adult/youth), Alpine in Longview on July 8, Oak Grove in New Boston on July 15, Wood Hollow in Longview on July 22 (adult/youth) and Pinecrest Country Club in Longview on July 29 (Tournament of Champions).

The tour is open to boys and girls. The pre-tour (9 holes) will feature coed 7-9 and boys and girls 10-11. The regular tour (18 holes) will feature 12-13 boys and girls, 14-15 boys and girls and 15-16 boys and girls.

Membership fee is $30, and tournament entry fee is $25.
