This moment belongs to the ETBU men’s basketball team and its comeback victory in overtime against the University of Ozarks.

After losing to the Eagles a week prior, ETBU held on to a one-game lead over UO for the fourth and final spot in the American Southwest East Division for the conference tournament. With 8:30 left in the second half, the Tigers trailed by 17 points, 68-51. The Tigers started to surge back with a 17-2 run with Jordan Gray and Westin Riddick scoring 11 points between them to pull within two points. The Eagles maintained their lead while Robby Dooley rallied ETBU to tie the game and send it to overtime tied at 76.

With momentum on their side, the Tigers won the overtime session 16-9 to take the game 92-85. Dooley scored the first 12 points in overtime to help him finish with a career-high 33 points, including his 1,000th career point at ETBU.

ETBU built off the victory with two more key wins against the University of Texas Tyler and Belhaven University to help secure their place in the ASC tournament.
